Marlon Washington

Marlon Washington is the GBLC's Executive Vice President for Health and Human Services and is a Vice President for 1199SEIU's Boston Medical Center division. 

Marlon grew up in Indianapolis Indiana. After serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps he went on to receive his Bachelor of History and Social Studies Education from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN.

Since joining 1199SEIU in 2016 Marlon has served as administrative organizer and education coordinator for the union, helping in the development of staff and members alike. In August of 2024 Marlon took on his current role as Vice President for the BMC Community team. This team represents hospitals, clinics, and specialty groups throughout the Commonwealth.  

Marlon and his wife live in Taunton MA with their four children.
