Boston Labor Council Juneteenth Solidarity Events, Friday June 19, 2020
- At 8:46am the Boston Building Trades, in partnership with their union contractor partners, will be standing down at all union construction sites in our region with a moment of silence that will last 8 minutes and 46 seconds to honor the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others as we strive to create a more fair and just world
- Hosted by SEIU 32BJ, 509, 1199 and 888, join the Juneteenth Drive to Justice Caravan. Meet at 11:30am at Dorchester District Court, 510 Washington Street, Boston.
- Join the Boston Teachers Union, UNITE HERE Local 26 and other Boston area unions at the Black Lives Matter Dorchester Rally, 2pm at Town Field in Dorchester, 1565 Dorchester Ave, Boston.
