Brian Doherty

Brian Doherty was elected Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater Boston Labor Council in 2024. 

Brian is the General Agent of the Greater Boston Building Trades Unions (GBBTU), a coalition of 20 building and construction trade local unions representing over 35,000 working families across the Greater Boston area. The Greater Boston Building Trades Unions have a dual mission of making sure every career in the construction industry is a good one and of creating pathways to ensure that everyone has access to these good, union careers.
