Unions across Greater Boston are convening on June 19 to demand racial justice for the Black community.

BOSTON On Juneteenth, June 19, the Greater Boston Labor Council (GBLC) will support the Black community by hosting several events across the City. Hundreds will join in celebrating the 155th year of the 13th Amendment, which formally abolished salary. As protests continue across the country, the Boston labor movement is continuing the fight and the conversation around racial injustice to bring about systemic change for the Black community.
