This weekend, we are celebrating the great civil rights leader and our union brother. And we remember the lesson he always emphasized: The fight for civil rights and worker rights are intertwined. 

This Tuesday January 17th, 12pm at 1153 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 1199SEIU members working at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital will hold an hour-long walkout during their lunch break to demand fair pay and a decent contract.

Our December meeting and year end celebration will be December 13th at 6pm. We'll celebrate a great year together with dinner and solidarity. UNITE HERE Local 26 will be hosting us at their Medford hall, 101 Station Landing 4th floor, Medford.
